Encounter. Captivated: St. John's Night

  • Sullivans' house 374 County Road 68 Toronto, OH, 43964 United States (map)

St. John's Night (or Eve), although fixed as liturgical feast on June 23/24, is celebrated before and after the date, depending on the country and tradition.

After usual prayer, worship and small groups time, we will have pizza made in outdoor oven, we will make Polish traditional meadow wreaths, have bonfire, poetic readings, legends and mid-summer folk dances from different lands.

Bring: folk instruments, drinks and desserts.

If you would like to add your family's or country's tradition, write it down below and we will see if its doable. There are so many things that could be done on that night!

What to bring: salads, side dishes - one per family.

Pizza and drinks will be provided by the Sullivan family. Make sure you will thank them!

This is family friendly event but we need to have an estimate of who is coming, so please SIGN UP HERE.
